This week we’ve been hard at work on a new feature that will help your club manage large groups of credits and refunds during regional COVID-19 shut downs. It’s called the Batch Invoicing feature.Update: Uplifter clients can now learn how to use the new Batch Invoicing feature by following our support documentation. Follow this link to learn more or search "Batch Invoicing" on learn.uplifter.com.
What will the new Batch Invoicing feature do?
With the new Batch Invoicing feature, your club administrators can quickly make line item additions to adjust invoices in large batches. This means you can refund or credit large groups of parents and athletes all at once. This feature can be leveraged on new or existing invoices. The Batch Invoicing feature works for both positive and negative values, which means any one-off charges that need to be processed to your member accounts can also be easily completed with Batch Invoicing.Special Note: If you’re intending to process a large quantity of refunds using the Batch Invoicing feature, be sure to check in with your payment gateway provider so that your account doesn’t get frozen due to suspicious activity.
Why introduce Batch Invoicing now?
Uplifter’s original refund and credit features were intended to handle normal club crediting and refunding practices. However, during these unprecedented times, some clubs are now finding themselves with a need to processes refunds or credits to their entire membership. Refunding or crediting all club members can take a long time if handled using our existing feature-set. That’s why we wanted to let you know about the Batch Invoicing feature today, prior to launching.
Although the feature will not be fully tested and launched until next week, we hope by sharing this news today, we can save administrators and owners the manual effort of managing these processes one-by-one.
So, if your club finds itself with a long list of clients to refund or credit for missed classes, and you'd like to cut-down on the time it takes to make these adjustments, just sit tight! We’ll be releasing the Batch Invoicing feature very soon. Until that time, if you have any questions about your Uplifter system, please don’t hesitate to contact support.
