The following privacy policy applies to Uplifter Inc. (herein the “Uplifter”) and the Software Services we provide (herein the “Software”). This includes, but is not limited to our company, our corporate websites found at www.uplifterinc.com and accounts.uplifterinc.com (herein the “Websites”) and the services provided by the Software.

Uplifter Inc. values your privacy and the privacy of your customers and partners, and adheres to international standards of practice.

Uplifter is committed to the protection of our customers’ information. Sensitive and personal information is kept secure and is strictly confidential. Our Websites and Software have security measures in place to protect against loss, misuse and alteration of the information under our control. Access to your personal information by Uplifter representatives and its agents are limited to a strictly need-to-know basis. All computers on which your personal information is stored are password protected.

During the course of rendering Uplifter services to you, your customer and partners, we may collect, should you provide it, personal information including, but not limited to, your name, organization name, email address, and billing information for the following purposes:

  • engaging in the contracting of our services
  • managing business activities
  • to provide you with information based on your interest and inquiries
  • to promote services and offers that may be of interest to our customers and prospective customers
  • to enable us to develop and customize products and services to better meet the needs of our customers or prospective customers

Your personal information may be shared with third party service providers for the sole purpose of rendering our services to you or as you may otherwise consent. It may also be disclosed if Uplifter is acquired or sold. Your information may also be provided to law enforcement agencies by court order, search warrant or where required by law.

Your personal information is never exchanged with, sold, rented or disclosed to any third party except for the reasons above.

Uplifter does not directly contact your customers or partners except in the functions that are related to your use of our Software (for example, our Software will send out communications to your members on your behalf via email or other notifications.)

Uplifter and the Software may use “cookies” to track and manage your browsing experience. “Cookies” are data files transferred and stored on your computer’s hard-drive through your browser by a website and they keep track of certain preferences or activities to streamline a website's visit and subsequent visits. Uplifter and the Software may log the IP address with which you or your customers are accessing the Websites or the Software. This information may be used in accordance with law enforcement authorities or financial institutions to identify security issues, which include, but may not be limited to, fraudulent credit card use.

Uplifter is not responsible for the privacy practices of our customers, the organizations that use our Software and the individuals that are responsible for the personal information of the organization’s users and customers. If you have concerns of how your personal information is being used by an organization that uses our Software (this includes the display of your personal information on their public site or how information is sent to you), please contact your organization directly. Our customers are responsible for the collection, use and disclosure of the personal information of their customers and members.

The Websites and or Software may contain links to other sites. Uplifter is not responsible for any privacy practices of those organizations or the content on those sites.

On occasion, Uplifter makes use of Third-party tracking pixels on our Websites for the purpose of remarketing. These tracking technologies record events such as page visits for the purpose of remarketing products or information to visitors who visit specific pages on the Websites. In order to change how these third-party platforms track your use of Uplifter’s Websites, you must contact those third-parties or manually update your privacy settings on their platforms. All forms on Uplifter’s Websites are used for contact purposes only. Personally identifiable information collected from these forms (such as a person’s name, email, or physical address) are not used for the purpose of remarketing on third-party platforms.
