Uplifter System Setup Time & Steps

We can have your club’s Uplifter site launched for your club administrators in as little as 1-2 business days. Typically, however, clubs require anywhere from 2-4 weeks to be fully up and running, especially if a merchant and/or payment gateway account needs to be set up.

To make the process as quick and seamless as possible, we recommend following these steps:

  1. Determine whether you require any additional Uplifter services and/or support beyond our standard offering, for example, custom website design, website content development, club program/pricing consultation, custom membership data imports, etc)
  2. Determine your merchant account and Bambora payment gateway needs and requirements
  3. Complete the Uplifter New Client contract and agreement
  4. Gather up-to-date details on all your programs and fees and properly organize any content that you want on the site (if you plan on using Uplifter’s content management tools to host your full website)
  5. After gaining access to your default Uplifter system, use our handy Club Quick-Start guides to optimize your site (this may also include working with Uplifter to customize your site design templates)
  6. Complete your Bambora payment gateway account application (if applicable) and ensure your site meets the Bambora minimum requirements. Please contact Uplifter’s dedicated Bambora account manager Garry Thomson by email at garry@uplifterinc.com.
  7. Continue organizing the rest of your categories, locations and/or programs and adding any of your additional site content
  8. Once your Bambora account is “authorized for live” run through the Bambora account configuration and notify Uplifter with the relevant account configuration details.
  9. Test your site and your registrations to ensure all programs and payments are processing as you would expect. Familiarize yourself with the process so you can answer questions from your members about regstration.
  10. Coordinate your “Go Live” with Uplifter and Bambora once your club’s site is ready to be viewed by your members


Many clubs ask us how long does it take to get up and running. There are many factors to setup your Uplifter site, but here are some rough guidelines:

Run through the Club QuickStart guide (~2 hours) to understand how Uplifter works. and setup your key components ready for program registrations (1 – 3 hours depending on the complexity of your club registrations). ~ 1 day
Set up program registrations  (~3 – 5 hours for every 20 programs you offer for registration) ~ 1 day for every ~20 programs
Populate site content if you are using Uplifter’s Content Management Tools ~ 1 – 2 hours for every page of content
Test registrations and tweak category requirements. Add 2 days for each discount you want to offer (that includes any bundled program price offerings you may have) ~ 1 day / 1 – 2 categories + 2 days for each discount
During your testing and setup, we suggest taking at least a week to have your administrators familiarize themselves with how the Uplifter site works and try using different elements of the software before going live ~ 1 week
